Tanto quanto sabemos, os cientistas do passado listados aqui acreditaram em um Gênesis literal, menos os indicados com um asterisco. Os que não são, todavia, estão incluídos na lista abaixo por causa de sua crença generalizada no Deus Criador da Bíblia e da oposição à evolução.
